Climbing Kilimanjaro is a real challenge and most trekkers find the summit day a very tough experience with over 1,000m of ascent at extreme altitude. It is important to note that this is a non technical climb and would be a suitable objective for fit and experienced hill walkers. We recommend that you start a training program at least three months before departure

Our program to climb Kilimanjaro takes six/seven days with the summit day starting in the morning of Day 5/6. It is important that you take your time and walk slowly during the first five days in order to help the acclimatization process and to keep your energy for the summit day.
